CATA provides mobility for all! Public Transportation is a lifeline service for rural communities. At CATA, we take pride in our motto that “Every Trip Matters” along with our Core Principals of Integrity and Respect. Our vision for the future is to enhance and expand mobility options for Crawford and Venango counties while continuing our core services of fixed route and paratransit bus service. CATA is comprised of over 50 vehicles. CATA uses 3 primary vehicle types in our operation. Our fleet is comprised of Heavy Duy Low Floor Mass Transit buses that run on Compressed Natural Gas, accessible mini-vans and body on chassis paratransit vehicles operating on Propane Autogas and unleaded gasoline. All vehicles are fully ADA compliant. We offer fixed route as well as shared ride services along with our recently launched micro-transit service called Cata Go. Through our non-profit, Northwest PA Mobility Alliance, CATA operates the only rural public bikeshare program in Pennsylvania. We maintain over 30 bikes for public rental throughout Crawford, Venango and Mercer County with plans to expand in more locations.

The NEW Titusville-Oil City Lifeline Route was underway yesterday and it was a busy day! Pictured is Elsie who caught the bus at Drake Mall, went to the Oil City Clifford Street hub, caught the Intercity bus to the Walmart in Seneca for an eye appointment, then back to Oil City, back to Titusville and didn't stop there... she then took the Lifeline to Meadville! ?? After a few errands in Meadville she returned to Titusville and called CATA GO to take her home! All in one day! ?? We are so happy and excited to provide this essential service to our passengers and look forward to many more trips! ????
