Key job-site advantages of a tele-crawler Narrower footprints, lighter booms, and ease of transportation are just a few ways these cranes out perform their crawler crane counterparts. Combining the mobility and stability of a crawler crane with the quick setup of all-terrain or rough-terrain cranes, tele-crawlers offer ease of handling without the need for on-site boom assembly. The telescoping boom is a major benefit. Unlike traditional crawlers, the tele-crawler's boom is adjustable, allowing operators to maneuver around obstructions without moving the crane or rebuilding the boom. This can save up to half a day's time on projects such as highway widening.?These unique features provide a substantial advantage. Project savings extend beyond just A&D. Tele-crawlers also hold advantages over other hydraulic cranes due to their enhanced track mobility and pick and carry capabilities. The tracks exert less ground pressure, dispersing their weight over a larger area than tires, which facilitates access to tight spaces, narrow streets, and steep gradients that conventional crawlers might find challenging.
