Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), built by Newport News Shipbuilding, A Division of HII, transits the Pacific Ocean on the dawn of a new day on September 29. #CVN71, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 9, is underway conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. Yesterday, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division and CRDG hosted our fourth-annual Connect to Crane Networking event focused on helping businesses learn more about and build connections with those in the defense sector. During this event, 21 companies were invited to participate in speed-networking with senior officials from NSWC Crane and other defense industry leaders.
