Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of hosting Tati Amare, April Morton, and the whole "Live in the D!" team for a one-hour live broadcast from Cranbrook House, the beautiful Albert Khan-designed home of our founders, George and Ellen Booth. ??? Joyce Harding, the chair of our House & Gardens Auxiliary Board, got to share how we celebrate the Women designers of Cranbrook with our unique Cranbrook House Women's History Tour & Tea. The current structure was built in 1950 and features growing habitats for tropical plants, orchids, and more. ?? We are truly grateful for our Cranbrook House & Gardens volunteers, who lead our plant sales, conduct our house tours, and care passionately for our gardens and community all year.

Wolston’s work blends traditional techniques and materials, reflecting material fluency and environmental urgency. His work is in the collections of the Denver Art Museum, National Gallery of Victoria, Odunpazari Modern Museum, Museum of American Glass, Museo de Antioquia, and the National Museum of Qatar. His visit is co-hosted by Cranbrook’s Ceramics and Industrial Design departments.
