Here’s a look at the recently completed Grafton Apartments in Rogers. The complex hosted its grand opening in late May, and residents have been enjoying the amenities like greenspace areas and pocket parks, EV chargers, and a pool and firepit. Our staff provided site design services for the apartment complex, which offers options of 1, 2, or 3-bedroom units. The Grafton will help support efforts to continue growing the Pinnacle Hills and Uptown Rogers areas and provide additional housing options for NWA residents.

First Security Field at the University of Central Arkansas’ Estes Stadium is truly one of a kind. With alternating purple and gray stripes, the field has received national attention for being one of the most distinctive fields in college football. To keep the turf in pristine condition, the Crafton Tull team provided engineering design not too long ago for the routine replacement of this iconic turf, and we can’t wait to see the UCA Bears get the season started this weekend against the Arkansas State Red Wolves. They’ll bring it home to their unique field on Sept. 14 when they take on the Austin Peay Governors!

Check out the progress of these bridge replacements along scenic Highway 340 in Bella Vista. One is over Sugar Creek, and the other over Tanyard Creek. The Sugar Creek four-lane bridge includes both a sidewalk and a protected side path. The Tanyard Creek two-lane bridge is adjacent to the Country Club Golf Course and includes a new 10’ path directing golf carts under the roadway to avoid vehicular traffic. Arkansas Department of Transportation hired our team to design the project, which also includes .29 miles of roadway widening with new sidewalks. Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is the general contractor.?

Exciting times in Searcy! We are honored to have played a role in helping the City of Searcy secure a RAISE Planning Grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Our team worked with the City to develop project graphics, including the one shown below, and write the grant application seeking funding for planning and design of the Little Red Greenway project.

Roundabouts are becoming more common, but this one goes by a different name. Introducing the “eggabout” at the entrance of Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. The City of Rogers, Arkansas hired our team to design this oval-shaped roundabout to accommodate existing site constraints. We are thrilled to see traffic flowing so smoothly! Would it be fair to say these are eggspert drivers?

Our own Garrett Lampson presented at the annual Arkansas Floodplain Management Association conference about the stormwater modeling work our firm has performed for the City of Rogers. Garrett played a key role in developing the model, which helps Rogers better understand how current stormwater systems function and how they will perform in the future under variable conditions.

In April, the Central Arkansas Library System celebrated the grand reopening of the Sue Cowan Williams Library in downtown Little Rock. The library was closed for renovations led by AMR Architects and included relocating the entrance, and several other external and internal upgrades. The Crafton Tull team worked alongside AMR to provide plans for new sidewalks and crosswalks for enhanced safety and access to both the Dunbar Garden and Dunbar Middle School. We are proud to be a part of this project that better connects this community with this valuable resource.
