When I started Crafted Action, I had to figure out the KPIs we'd use to measure the success of our Experiential Master Plans.? ? Two years in, I've learned there's only one metric that matters: Did we move the project forward? Did we do what was necessary to help our clients secure the resources, build the excitement, and create the momentum needed to advance their goals? That is our only goal. And I'm so proud to say that we consistently achieve it. Over the past year alone, our EMPs have helped secure over $45 million in funding for new exhibits and experience centers. Depending on the client, that funding might come from philanthropic and grant-making organizations or executive committees and boards. Regardless of project type, we've made sure those investments will offer returns in the form of increased visitors, increased engagement, and increased revenue. But it hasn't always been easy. > We've pretended to open a Crafted Action satellite office to secretly meet with real estate agents on behalf of our clients. > We've developed 10-year financial pro formas to show the return on investment. > We've leveraged the latest tech and our nimble process to deliver early VR fly-throughs, prototypes, and renderings to get stakeholder buy-in. > We've surfed the waves of corporate shakeups and shifting resources. > We've braved red-sky site visits to offer blue-sky thinking. > We've had tough conversations with clients about when to swing for the fences and when they just need a solid double. In short, we've done whatever it takes to move projects forward. And we've done it all while making a lot of friends along the way. As we move forward into 2025, I'm excited to see several projects open their doors to prepare experiences for America's Sesquicentennial in 2026 and to plant the seeds for future visitor-focused experiences in 2027 and beyond. In the meantime, here are a few highlights from the last year. Cheers!

Our CEO, Brad Baer, is again leading the ABPM (Association of Briefing Program Managers) workshop on Center Construction & Renovation at this month's conference in Atlanta. If you can't be there in person, reach out, and we can schedule time for a CliffsNotes version.

What should you do when you're tasked with creating a new customer experience center? Does it even make sense? How long will it take? How much will it cost? Who should be involved? What could go wrong? What does success look like? We'll answer these questions (and many more) at this year's ABPM (Association of Briefing Program Managers) Fall Workshop on October 15 in Atlanta.
