Same company, different look, many new features, and much bigger impact. Almost 3 years into this journey. As hard as it is, I'm loving it. It's also go time.
Revert Technologies off to the races post oversubscribed seed round At a time when more and more electricity draining appliances are put on the grid and when electricity prices have surged across our country, Revert has created an enterprise software platform that leverages smart IoT power adapters, utility grid pricing analytics and machine learning to deliver up to 30% in electricity bill savings for commercial real estate tenants. We are excited that the market recognizes Revert’s ability to deliver this measurable, easy to capture electricity savings. Schools, gyms, offices, hotels, and even manufacturing companies are already saving money with Revert. This fundraise also marks a very important milestone in our journey. 2 years ago, we made our debut with the Teak Smart Cube, which was built to cut phantom load for the household. While our thesis and the problem to be solved have not changed, we’ve since focused on creating a plug load management solution to help businesses manage equipment and energy use at a much larger scale. We could not have reached this point without the support of our early development partners Techstars, Rev: Ithaca Startup Works, ClimateHaven, The Roux Institute at Northeastern University, Maine Technology Institute, IMPEL at Berkeley Lab, Cradle to Commerce, and FuzeHub. In this next chapter and with the backing from Revert's seed investors Maine Venture Fund, Synetro Group, Exelon, ShockVentures, Michael Ferrante, Andrew Rapkin, Karen Bentlage, Mark Joseph, Mark perechocky, Maine Angels, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, we look forward to crossing the first giga-watt hour of savings with light speed. Follow us along and tell your CFOs, ESG and property managers that they can start clocking electricity savings with Revert today. Go team go: Joe Lybik, Theodore Ward, Amanda Myron, Yuchen Sun Special thanks to our distributor i-NETT , our manufacturing partner Alternative Manufacturing, Inc. , our board Pantelis A. "Pete" Georgiadis and Chip Hardt, and the many advisors (now shareholders!!) who backed us through the ups and downs: Andreas Georgiadis, Hannah Sieber, Ario Keshani, Karen Gordon, John Thompson, and Albert Gan #climate #sustainability #energy #AI #technology https://lnkd.in/eexCXHRk

?? Reflecting on a Powerful Discussion: Buildings Panel at C2C Summit 2024 ?? Buildings are a major player in our energy landscape, consuming 74% of the U.S.’s electricity, 39% of total energy, and contributing 35% of carbon emissions (NIST, 2021). Achieving net-zero emissions requires our buildings to be more flexible, resilient, and smarter. In our recent panel, Tianhzen Hong, Computational Senior Scientist/Engineer at Berkeley Lab, led a compelling discussion on the five key trends driving zero-carbon building innovations: decarbonization, resilience, electrification, efficiency, and digitalization. We were fortunate to hear from Glen Junor, Program Manager at Sublime Systems, Yi Jean Chow, Investment Principal at Clean Energy Ventures, and Nicholas Ryan, Tech-to-Market Lead at the U.S. U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s Building Technologies Office. Together, they shared insights into the latest technologies that are transforming energy efficiency, eliminating fossil fuels, enhancing grid integration, and utilizing renewable energy sources. Thank you to our moderator and panelists for their valuable contributions. Let’s keep pushing forward towards a sustainable, zero-carbon future! ??
