  • If you want real results from LinkedIn… Posting is not enough. Strategic outbound commenting is the missing piece. And now, LinkedIn is giving you a way to measure its impact. Introducing: Comment Impressions. (See David Bland’s example of what this looks like) You can now see how many times your comments are viewed. This is proof that your engagement isn’t just valuable, but visible. Why does this matter? Better comments = better credibility Now, you have data to prove it. Lara Acosta says: Your content does 50% of the job, but your ability to network does the rest. She’s right. Your audience isn’t just built from what you post—it’s built from how you show up in conversations. What you need to know: - Every time someone sees your comment, it counts as an impression - Even your own views count (but refreshing won’t fool anyone) - These numbers are only visible to you, but they show how far your engagement is reaching LinkedIn has already confirmed that commenting increases profile views. Now, there’s even more reason to be intentional with how you engage. This feature won’t change the game, but it will show you if you’re playing it right. Will this feature change how you comment on LinkedIn?

  • If your LinkedIn post looks like a wall of text… No one’s reading it. Make it easy: - Listicles > bulky paragraphs - End with a crystal-clear CTA - Simple language > fancy jargon - Add visuals to break up the text - Speak directly to your ideal clients - AuthoredUp helps you write for mobile - Format for the scroll—bold, caps, spacing - Use Hemingway for third-grade-level clarity - Short, strong words + sentences win every time How many of these are you already doing? Give yourself a score from 1-10.

  • Great ideas don’t go viral—great structure does. But most people focus on what to say, not how to say it. Here's how to structure a LinkedIn post in 6 steps: 1. Hook = Stops the scroll 2. Rehook = Keeps them reading 3. Lists = Easy to scan, easy to digest 4. Emojis = Guide the eye (not just for fun) 5. Power statement = Sticks in their head 6. Simple question = Invites engagement Miss one, and you risk getting ignored. Did your last post follow these practices? Drop a ?? if you did (or a ?? if you didn’t) (Repost for your network ??)

  • LinkedIn just gave us a big win. (For us newsletter creators) Two new newsletter metrics now show: 1. Email Sends: How many subscribers got the email 2. Email Open Rate: How many actually opened it This gives us something we didn’t have before: Clarity on our reader engagement. Before, we only saw views and new subscribers. But views don’t tell us if people are receiving or opening our newsletter. Now, we can track what’s working—and what’s not. More data = smarter decisions. Will this help you improve your strategy?

  • Another year, another $8 million price tag for a Super Bowl ad. But did brands get their money’s worth? Semrush’s latest data breakdown says yes… For the brands that played their digital strategy right. Here’s what we can learn: TV alone won’t cut it. The best brands didn’t just air an ad—they kept the momentum rolling long after kickoff, turning one moment into a multi-platform conversation. So, when planning your own campaigns, don’t just think about game day. Think game week. The real winners own the conversation. Which Super Bowl ad stood out most to you this year?

  • Your LinkedIn profile is costing you business. Not because you’re not good at what you do… Because no one can see it. After 20 years on LinkedIn, we know exactly what makes a profile stand out. (And what makes people scroll past). Here’s how to zhuzh it up. (Yes, zhuzh is a real word ??): Give your headline a rewrite → Clarity beats cleverness → Make it obvious who you help and how Share your story → People connect with people → Highlight what makes you different Show your wins → Metrics build credibility → Show proof, not just promises Your LinkedIn profile should be working for you, not against you. Want to make sure it’s bringing in the right opportunities? Grab our 10-Step LinkedIn Profile Guide and start turning views into leads. (Link is in the comments below). ??

TikTok is winning the engagement race. Should you care? Maybe. Maybe not. A new report from Socialinsider analyzed 125 million posts and found: - TikTok has the highest engagement (2.5% per post) - Instagram is second, but not even close - Facebook and X? Way behind So, should you drop everything and go all-in on TikTok? Our answer: No. Because engagement stats don’t equal business results. Before you chase trends, ask yourself: ? Where is my audience active? ? What’s actually driving conversions? ? Is my content resonating where it matters? Instead of platform-hopping, assess and optimize where you are.
