Recalibrating the mind, managing expectations, keeping my head down, focus on daily improvement and evolution, executing daily preset tasks for the big goals. I realized I have done pretty well with this level. But I got a glimpse on the next level and I'm realizing the rigorous training of the mind, body, and soul it requires and it's exciting! Enter Taurean 9.0...its time to fulfill my destiny! Blessed God has me here on this stage for my children, family, friends, and Even enemies and opponents to witness. Because I need my Opps in order to prosper. I'm not doing anything correct if I don't have the tension that tension let's me I know I have enough to hold attention and when I release amazing work from that tension it will be sensational! Greatness is coming!

I would like to wish the most special of birthdays to my mother Dena Short . I'm so grateful for her bringing me into this world! However, I've often carried the self conscious burden as her first born that I messed up her life because I was born when she was a teenager. But if there is any figure that I want to look at on how to be resilient, driven, and make lemonade out of lemons or play the cards they were dealt well, I would say it's from my mom. I'm often complimented on my drive, resiliency, and execution of goals. But what folks don't know is that I get it from my amazing mother! I'm so happy to be connecting with you and us just really embracing each other. I hit the lottery having you as a mom and I wouldn't want our story to be any different because we are stronger despite the odds. My Mom is amazing! I love you Mom and have the best birthday ever! Let's get it!

Blessed to be alive today and I'm ready to kill it. What didn't take me out yesterday makes me stronger. I'm so blessed with the friends and loved ones I've grown to share this journey of life with and I think I'm getting better at determining who is with me for a reason, season, or lifetime. There's nothing wrong with either of those categories. The lifetime folks are hard to really come by so I am truly not harping on the quantity of those folks because it's always quality over quantity. The season and reason folks are key because they truly help me elevate to new levels in this constant evolution and transition that we call life in which we are always changing. So switching to that mindset and not allowing the unexpected changes of behavior or misalignment of words and actions to trigger, I allow it to be a catalyst to my next level.I'm in the cocoon and literally in the womb of my dream coming true! 9 months is truly accurate so this last upcoming month of the year is going to be special! I'm so excited and blessed!!

I am so thankful and humbled by the packed house I received from Hood College! Today I had my Comic Book release party today 10/31 and the Hood College Library library sponsored me. I released a sampler of my comic before it debuts Monday 11/4/24! I had so much going on and I faced so much obstacles outside of just creating this comic and I actually worked tirelessly yesterday about 15 hours and went to bed at 3am. So many doubts about my journey to being a full time artist definitely hit me. But within 2 minutes of the event, the house was already packed. I'm so thankful for individuals like Kelly Esposito Dr April Boulton Dr. Kimberly Morse-Jones, Dr. Jenni Ross Dr. Hoffman, Dr. Tamelyn Tucker Words. The Director of Campus security Mr. Thurmond Maynard II Thurmond, Dr. Simpson who is the director of equity. I even had some current undergrad students. I've felt very isolated being a grad student and older and its definitely been some displays of other on my end but today, I felt appreciated. I'm so thankful for God and this is an example of how I have to work on my faith , put my head down and work. God knows my heart and I just have to trust that if I keep setting good intentions, and just do great work...great results will follow! Today was amazing and I'm so thankful (Big shout out to Dr. B for the photo!)

Dropping Election Day is my debut comic and fitting I am having a release party at my alma mater @hood_college on Halloween who is sponsoring and hosting it! I'm so blessed and thankful for God. I'm wrapping things up as we speak but wanted to do some plugging! Come tomorrow 1-2pm at Hood College's library? 401 Rosemont Avenue Frederick MD 21701 tomorrow 10/31 (Halloween) from 1-2pm. I will be giving free artwork to everyone in attendance and I will have free comics for the first 25 in attendance! Let's get it! This comic will change the game!
