Happy 30th Birthday CQL! On March 2, 1995, CQL was founded by Mark Carpenter and Kevin Antel. The name CQL was derived from the programming language SQL as it “sounds” the same when you say it.?It is a homonym of an acronym or a pseudonym.?(As SQL stands for Structured Query Language.) With ecommerce becoming possible in 1991 and the internet gaining popularity to the general public in 1994, CQL has evolved over the last 30 years from a custom development business to a leading digital commerce agency serving some of the largest brands in commerce. We are so thankful to our team, our clients, and our partners for the continued opportunity to drive growth for the best of brands in the digital space. We look forward to the next 30 years!
