CPWR - The Center for Construction Research and Training is a non-profit dedicated to reducing occupational injuries, illnesses and fatalities in the construction industry through research, training, and service programs. As a world leader in construction safety and health research and training, CPWR is uniquely positioned to foster partnerships with industry stakeholders, health and safety professionals, academics, and key government agencies. In cooperation with these partners, CPWR identifies hazards, conducts research on hazards, risks and the solutions, and accelerates the use of safer tools, equipment and work practices on construction sites - research into practice (r2p). CPWR serves as the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health's (NIOSH) National Construction Center and the research and training arm of North America's Building Trades Unions.
