Having cPTSD often makes you look at life through a black-and-white lens, and your trauma response to life is not just constantly assessing whether or not people are safe but also whether our environments are safe. #cptsd #cptsdfoundation #cptsdchat #cptsdblog #mentalhealth #mentalhealthwareness #nonprofit #help #traumainformed #trauma #follow #share #mentalhealthwareness https://lnkd.in/g8a-RccB

关于我们
Here at CPTSD Foundation, we are taking a revolutionary approach to healing from complex trauma. We understand each survivor heals in their own way and in their own time. There is no cookie-cutter approach to healing and building up resilience. Being survivors ourselves, we know the importance of ongoing support, even when seeing a trauma-informed helping professional. That’s why we’ve developed Daily Recovery Support, to help take your journey to the next level of healing. We invite you to learn more about our daily calls and consider joining us as we cover a wide range of topics which are sure to inspire and encourage you as you begin or continue to break free from the chains of trauma and seek the life you dream of and deserve.

My mother had been in a car accident. The second one that year, and this time, the car was totaled. Rushing to the emergency room, I was ushered back to one of the bays where she dressed to go home. She had suffered only a few cuts and bruises.?#cptsd #cptsdfoundation #cptsdchat #cptsdblog #becauseeweareworthit #nonprofit #healing #trauma #traumainformed #follow #share #childhoodtrauma #selfblame #healingselfblame https://lnkd.in/ghfkNkKC

I recently connected with Alex Abraham, an author with a powerful story about using psychedelic plant medicine to work through childhood trauma, and I wanted to share a bit of his story and approach to healing with you today. #cptsd #cptsdfoundation #cptsdchat #cptsdblog #blogger #becauseweareworthit #traumainformed #traumahealing #healingchildhoodtrauma #plantmedicine #healingwithplants #follow #share https://lnkd.in/g_E6DZVz

On the evening of Election Day 2024, I was so emotionally invested in the outcome that I couldn’t sit still next to my husband as we watched the coverage unfold. Instead, I paced around the house shouting, “We are on track to win!” #cptsd #cptsdfoundatino #cptsdchat #politicsandtrauma #trauma #becauseweareworthit #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #traumainformed #follow #share https://lnkd.in/gYAE_3Ji

“Mom, Dad doesn’t love you… or Spenser. He only loves me.” “That’s not true, sweetie, why do you say that?” “He doesn’t treat you nice.” I looked down at my 5-year-old boy. His innocent eyes stared up at me while he declared his truth. Inside, I fell apart. #cptsd #cptsdfoundation #cptsdchat #cptsdblog #blogger #blog #family #survivors #relantionships #life #healing #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #nonprofit #follow #share #protectthechildren #protectingchildren https://lnkd.in/gi9ZdGT2

There is a man who lives in a large drainage culvert that goes under a road near my home. He has been there for nearly a decade. You see him frequently, standing out on the sidewalk at the large drainage pipe going under and across the road, smoking a cigarette, appearing as if he is enjoying, most certainly barely enduring, the moment. #cptsd #cptsdfoundation #becauseweareoworthit #cptsdhealing #traumainformed #trauma #blogger #guestblogger #follow #share #mentalhealth #healing #healingfromtrauma https://lnkd.in/gGCXiMf5

Over the past month, I have been exploring different solutions to help with anxiety and panic attacks in the workplace. I covered breathing techniques, mindfulness, and grounding techniques, and how to build an anxiety-busting tribe…but what if those solutions are not enough to help you gain traction in your workplace performance? What if you need more? #cptsd #cptsdfoundation #cptsdchat #nonprofit #mentalawareness #mentalhealth #worktrauma #workplacetrauma #anxiety #worklife #empoweringworklife #empowering #blogger #traumainformed #follow #share #follow https://lnkd.in/g877SH2U

TRIGGER WARNING!!! * * * * * For many survivors of childhood s*xual abuse, the journey toward healing can be fraught with discomfort. The body often becomes a site of trauma, a vessel that holds memories and sensations tied to painful experiences. The complex relationship between the mind and body can make living in one’s skin feel like a challenge. #CPTSD #CPTSDFOUNDATION #Traumainformed #cptsdchat #becauseweareworthit #mentalhealth #healingfromtrauma #lifeaftertrauma #ACES #childhoodabuseprevention #mentalhealthmatters #triggerwarning #survivorship #follow #blog #blogger #share https://lnkd.in/gfsBfWhp

We were perfect for each other. Or so I thought. His love for children, our incredible chemistry, he seemed to know how I was thinking, what I liked, he made me feel like I had “come home.” I had no idea that this was his usual MO, like a game, for him to figure out what he could get from me and how he could get it. #cptsd #cptsdfoundation #cptsdchat #mentalhealth #becauseweareworthit #healing #time #nonprofit #mentalhealth #follow #share #blog #guestblogger #storiesfromlife #healing https://lnkd.in/gRPfuzbe
