As we celebrate #PublicPowerWeek, we recognize that public power is more than just keeping the lights on—it’s about community, dedication, and pride. This year, our crews took that commitment further, answering calls for Mutual Aid in Dallas, Houston, and the Navajo Nation. Their willingness to drive long distances and work even longer hours to restore power to thousands of homes is a true testament to what public power stands for—reliable, safe, affordable electricity provided by a team that cares about the people we serve. We’re incredibly proud to have their efforts recognized by Mayor Ron Nirenberg, who personally thanked them for their relentless dedication. Our team represents the heart of what it means to be a community-owned utility, always stepping up for San Antonio and beyond. Way to go, team! ????
