The city of Salina, KS has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of another Develon Wheel Loader. This addition is set to enhance the city's operational capabilities, providing improved efficiency and reliability for various public works projects. The decision to purchase another unit highlights the city's commitment to maintaining high standards in infrastructure development and maintenance. With this new equipment, Salina can better manage tasks such as road maintenance, snow removal, and other essential services, ensuring that the community continues to thrive.

Morgan, out of our Tulsa, Oklahoma branch, has a Develon DX 225 out on rent to a customer! Currently, they are using this heavy-duty excavator with a thumb attachment to efficiently uproot trees. The thumb attachment is particularly useful for gripping and maneuvering large objects like tree trunks, making it an essential tool for such demanding tasks. This process is just the initial phase of a comprehensive land-clearing project, which will soon involve the use of a dozer. The next step in this extensive project entails utilizing a dozer, a machine designed for pushing large quantities of soil, sand, rubble, or other such material during construction work. Dozers are particularly effective in clearing land as they can easily level terrain and remove debris, paving the way for further development or landscaping.

As an off-highway sales professional for Kansas and Nebraska, Steve continually exceeds expectations, always putting his customers and events first. His efforts even extend beyond sales, as he frequently treats his clients to his delicious BBQ skills. Outside of work, Steve enjoys hunting and cherishing moments with his family. Our very own Mike Lux worked with JE Dunn to install the very first Starline Series-S 250S (250a/240V) Track Busway at their facility! They preassembled the 10-foot busway section and installed it from the ceiling of the garage above the EV charging station. Then routed a single feeder from the garage's main distribution panel to a ceiling-mounted, dry-type transformer, which steps down the voltage from 480V to 240V, and then connected it to the busway. Each charger is equipped with a plug-in unit that fits into the busway track, featuring a 100-amp circuit breaker with an 80% rating. This is a perfect solution for JE Dunn to safely and efficiently charge employees and visitors vehicles!
