This decision guide is designed to simplify the understanding and implementation of the updated label requirements, ensuring that retailers and farmer customers can comply effectively while focusing on environmental sustainability and agricultural productivity. Terry Kippley, president and CEO of CPDA, emphasized the organization's commitment to supporting its members and the agricultural community in adapting to regulatory changes. The use of Drift Reduction Agents (DRA’s) is one way to reduce the need for No Spray Buffer zones where possible, demonstrating a dedication to environmental stewardship. The collaboration between these industry leaders underscores the importance of creating resources that empower the agricultural sector to balance environmental concerns with productivity goals. By utilizing this new resource, stakeholders can uphold their commitment to responsible and effective pesticide use. Ethox Chemicals, a proud member of the CPDA, recently had the honor of hosting Congressman William Timmons for a plant tour and Q and A session. This meeting served as a follow-up to the successful CPDA DC Fly-In that took place in February. Brad Swillen, who served as the 2024 CPDA Chairman, was present at the meeting. His leadership and expertise were invaluable in guiding the discussion and highlighting the importance of collaboration between industry stakeholders and government officials.
