This is when true success is determined—not by how fast you start, but by your ability to stay consistent when the initial excitement wears off. When you hit a wall, remember why you started. Whether it’s career advancement, financial security, or personal fulfillment, reconnect with your “why.” Small daily actions—just one more set of multiple-choice questions, one more simulation, one more review session—compound over time. Progress may feel slow, but every bit of effort pushes you closer to the finish line. Don’t compare your journey to others. Some pass on their first try, while others take multiple attempts. The only thing that matters is that you keep going. Every setback is a lesson, every challenge is a stepping stone, and as long as you stay in the race, success is inevitable. To help candidates pass the CPA exams, we must first understand why they are failing. There are many reasons for failure, and diagnosing the problem is crucial. Just as we wouldn't prescribe medication without a proper diagnosis, we should understand the candidates’ challenges in order to offer better solutions. Too often, we focus on selling rather than on the people. The emphasis has been more on the product than on the people (individuals themselves), with the belief that using a particular product guarantees success. This is not a critique of CPA prep products but rather a shift in focus back to the people. Each student who successfully completed all parts of the CPA Exam in the features last week, used a different product. While a good product helps, stop placing more faith in the product than in yourself. At CPA Exam Coach, we receive hundreds of questions, including: What is the pass rate? Some say a teacher is only as good as their students. But what defines a great teacher or coach? Among many things, it’s someone who understands and elevates their students. Which product is best? As mentioned earlier, "While the product helps, stop believing more in the product than in yourself." It’s not necessarily the product that determines success or failure, but rather how you use it. We can discuss this in more detail another time. What is the guarantee that if I take your course, I will pass? Skepticism and doubt are natural, especially for those who have invested significant time and money in this journey. I’ve seen the slogan "Success Guaranteed," but real success depends on effort, strategy, and mindset. Around 2018–2019, we started focusing on candidates who repeatedly failed the exam.
