?? Cozen O'Connor is celebrating International Women's Day by spotlighting four women whose charitable efforts give back to women-centered organizations: Lucy Schilling, Jennifer Nellany, Kris Cherevas, and Kendyl Gilmore. Lucy serves on the Board of Directors of the Dress for Success Canada Foundation and Dress for Success Vancouver. She is proud to have developed a long-term partnership with David Yurman, raising over $137,000 since 2019 to fund essential programs that provide resources that are often the difference between uncertainty and stability for many women. "It's the return on investment (ROI) that I love: the impact of our contribution keeps growing long after the initial investment," Lucy explains. ?? Jennifer is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sarcoma Foundation of America. She also hosts an annual golf outing to benefit #SFA, Putts for Ped, in memory of her late husband, Michael Pedrick, who lost his battle with sarcoma in 2006. To date, they have raised over $100,000 for the sarcoma community. ? Kris supports and participates in charity 5Ks, beach clean-ups, and food donations within the #SanDiego community. With support from the firm's Charity Committee, DE&I Committee, and Cozen O'Connor Women's Initiative, and with participation from the office, she has planned and organized participation in dozens of events over the years, including the San Diego Fire-Rescue Foundation's Girls Empowerment Camp and the Women's Build playhouse competition through the San Diego Habitat for Humanity. ? Over the past two years, Kendyl has raised nearly $20,000 for colon cancer research, awareness, and survivorship through Haymakers for Hope, a nonprofit that organizes charity #boxing matches for cancer. Kendyl is fighting in honor of her grandfather and will be stepping back into the ring on April 10th. ?? Well done, ladies! #WomensHistoryMonth #InternationalWomensDay #WomenEmpowerment #Givingback #Charity
