We have eliminated the aluminum clamps, unistrut rails, and all the fasteners required. Additionally,? all the hardware is “non separable” — meaning the hardware cannot be cannibalized or lost when being stowed, transported, and deployed. The arrays are deployed by two workers in less than one hour each. Once the arrays are deployed the system requires virtually no maintenance beyond regular cleaning of the solar modules.
