Portfolio Update: Cognition Therapeutics, Inc., a Cowtown Angels portfolio company, recently announced promising results from a key analysis of their #Phase2 study on their innovative Alzheimer’s treatment. Presented at the CTAD Clinical Trials on Alzheimer's Disease conference, findings revealed that their treatment dramatically slowed cognitive decline in patients based on a critical biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease with patients experiencing a 95% - 108% slower cognitive decline compared to the placebo group. Angel investing is invaluable for biotech startups like Cognition Therapeutics, Inc. because it provides essential early-stage funding that allows these companies to conduct initial research and gather data needed to attract investors.
