As colder weather approaches, it's essential to winterize your home to avoid frozen or burst pipes. These issues can cause costly damage and lead to unnecessary water waste. Take these steps now to save time, money, and stress later! ?? 1??Insulate exposed pipes. 2??Drain and turn off irrigation systems. 3??Disconnect garden hoses from all outdoor faucets. 4??Seal and winterize outdoor spigots and faucets. Should a pipe burst due to freezing or under any other circumstances, ensure you and your family understand how to turn off water at the main meter servicing the home. #protectyourpipes #colderweather #winterizeyourhome

Water is the most important resource that we have today! ?? Because drinking water is a natural resource, its taste, color and odor can sometimes vary slightly from day-to-day, from town-to-town and from faucet-to-faucet. Check out CCWSA's Drinking Water FAQs page to learn more about where it comes from, how it's treated and quality protected, and what these variations may indicate: https://loom.ly/RNEpBc0.

Major Expansion Underway at CCWSA's Shenandoah Wastewater Treatment Facility! ?? We are pleased to announce the expansion of the Shenandoah Wastewater Treatment Facility, a project that will enable us to increase treatment capacity, support expanding infrastructure, return treated water responsibly to nature, and continue to protect public health. Upon completion, this transformative project will increase treatment capacity from 2 million gallons per day (MGD) to 6 MGD, meeting our community's growing needs and reinforcing our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable growth. Through this collaborative project, we’re excited to advance water quality, preserve natural resources, and support sustainable growth for our community. Many thanks to KREBS ENGINEERING, INC. and Lakeshore Engineering, LLC for their contributions in making this project possible! ?? #CleanWater #WaterEfficiency #EnvironmentalStewardship #WastewaterTreatment #SustainableGrowth

Where you leave your leaves matters! Falling leaves can be a significant issue for storm drains, causing local flooding, sewer backups and pollution in our waterways. This autumn season, let's work together to prioritize proper disposal to help keep our drains clear and maintain water quality! ???? #protectourwaterways
