Not one, but two attendees were winners of Steven Van Zandt's autographed guitars 🎸 🎸 last week at Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman, P.C.'s CLE and concert presentation! Raising over $1,500 for Steve Van Zandt’s TeachRock Foundation 🥁 in the auction and another $1,000 from CLL, the real winner is music for children 🎶 . Interspersing their CLE with a rock band, led by CLL attorneys, it was a night to remember! Thank you to everyone at CLL for an amazing evening. We can't wait for Part 2!

On My Mind Blog: Why SPECTACLES Was Held Not Generic for “Smart Glasses” The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (Court) reversed a decision by the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), which had affirmed a ruling by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO). Unlike the lower tribunals, the Court held that SPECTACLES is not generic for “smart glasses,” although the Court held that this term is “highly descriptive” of these goods.
