A special thank you to our Title Sponsor DBL Law and our many other sponsors, supporters and attendees of the 2024 CBC Annual Dinner. It was a great evening, a packed house at the NKY Convention Center, honoring the longtime community development work by Tony Kreutzjans of Orleans Development who took home our coveted Founder Award. The program is not only a celebration of the CBC's work but of all the success of our 530-plus member organizations. Well done everyone. The process began six years ago with community input sessions. On October 29, 2024, ground was broken for Covington's first permanent City Hall in half a century. The new 40,000 square foot multi-story facility, smack dab between the Kenton County Public Library branch and the post office, is designed to be a community gathering space both inside and out--in addition to providing better functionality that City Hall locations in the past five decades. It's the culmination of great vision by Mayor Joseph Meyer and the entire City Commission, along with help from great private sector partners: designers Brandstetter Carroll Inc. and Elevar Design Group, city agent J.S. Held LLC and builder Pepper Construction Group. Coincidentally, all of them CBC member companies. ??
