Covid-19 Relief Initiative

The Coronavirus Pandemic has brought about a multitude of monumental issues. One critical issue that is not being addressed enough is the new conditions of homeless residents in homeless shelters. Due to volunteer shortage and new adjustments being made to infrastructure to prevent the spread of the disease, it has been more difficult to pay for essential things such as food and produce. That means that in order to prevent the contagion, there has been less money directed toward very essential things, and in consequence the homeless residents are getting substantially less food. This is where this non profit organization believes that we could thrive, and support these people in this difficult time. The Covid-19 Relief Initiative will provide food assistance to homeless shelters so that the homeless residents could stay intact, and fight through this harsh time. To be able to accomplish and fulfill all of our goals, we have created a gofundme that can be seen on our website. The goal of this gofundme is 15 thousand dollars, and we believe that we would be able to change the lives of so many human beings with this. A meal costs relatively anywhere from 10-20 dollars, so with this significant amount we could give people nearly a hundred or more meals, which would really change their lives for the better. We already have supermarkets and restaurants that are willing to deliver to these homeless shelters, so once we will give them the money, they will start their mission and help those in need. Once we are near this threshold of 15 thousand dollars or reach that goal, we would expand to helping other families in need due to the large unemployment. Those families in need are those who cannot afford it, or people who are elderly and cannot leave the house because it is extremely dangerous. We believe that this operation could really help the state of New York deal with the Pandemic in many aspects, in addition to providing for so many of those who are in urgent need of it
