Covia is proud to honor and support veterans through initiatives that make a difference. In October, we hosted our 10th annual Stars, Stripes & Links golf outing in partnership with The Turn’s Return to Golf Program. This special event provided a day of golf specifically designed for injured combat veterans, empowering them to use the game of golf as a rehabilitative exercise. We also want to take a moment to thank and recognize the veterans within the Covia family. Their service and dedication inspire us daily, and we are immensely grateful for their contributions to our organization and community. To all veterans, your sacrifices are deeply appreciated.

We’re proud to recognize the incredible service milestones of some truly dedicated team members this month! Jeff Ellis, Journeyman Mechanic at Blue Mountain Plant, and Mick Mickelson, Plant Manager at Lugoff Plant, are celebrating 35 years. A special highlight goes to Jeff Merritt, Sales Manager at Black Lab Chardon, who is celebrating an impressive 46 years with us. From his beginnings in plant maintenance to his remarkable achievements in sales, Jeff’s journey exemplifies hard work and passion. These individuals have made invaluable contributions to Covia, demonstrating hard work, dedication, and passion throughout the years.
