Marc is the co-founder of AlloyFX, a 3-D, video, and technology company in Covington. Passionate about public art, Marc’s newest piece is Clive the Alien on Scott Street in Covington which was funded by a City of Covington placemaking grant, meetNKY, and BE NKY. Prior projects include a six-foot cicada that popped up around Cincinnati in 2023 and appeared at Cinfed Credit Union events. If the ice is thick and strong enough in the winter, Marc leads his neighbors in Crestview Hills in building multi-tiered ice sculptures. He led the design of three soapbox cars in the Red Bull Soapbox Derby, placing second with the Mud Bug in 2018, and building the Space Shark in 2015 and Toro Rosso in 2009. Panelist David Rickerd has been painting most of his life and was first taught and inspired by his father who was also an artist.?For 30+ years he worked as a graphic designer in Cincinnati then decided to follow his passion in painting murals and portraits. Dave has painted murals in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. He collaborates with his clients to create their story in mural format and finds it to be deeply personal and meaningful.
