A great opportunity to represent the Army Science Board at I/ITSEC this week. We couldn’t have discussed human machine integration into formations without the experts - COL Scott Shaw from MCOE CDID, Dr Garry Lambert from TRAC, and COL Jason West from the STE CFT. And we had a wonderful intro from the Chairman of the ASB, LTG (Ret) Michael Williamson!

"Accelerate. Strengthen. Transform." Getting the right technology into the warfighters hands is critical to ensure lethality and survivability. This is the way. Semper Fi!
It was an honor to host General Eric M. Smith, Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, at our Mountain View office last Thursday. The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) Unit team was proud to update General Smith on how we are addressing critical operational capability gaps for the USMC through commercial technology demonstrations. These demonstrations highlighted several key projects, including the Autonomous Amphibious Response Vehicle (A2RV), Analysis, Research, Collection, Heuristics, & Engagement Resource (ARCHER), Blue UAS, Integrated Communications, and Hybrid Space Architecture. Thank you, General Smith, for visiting us in Silicon Valley! Ooh-rah! #innovation #commercial #technology #nationaldefense

Thumbnail is wrong. The article is about Replicator - a DoD initiative to rapidly deploy attritable technologies, spearheaded by the Defense Innovation Unit. This needs to be successful to maximize our agility in current & future conflicts - it must include mechanisms to evaluate and ensure the viability of the technologies.
