Yesterday was a great kick-off to our training for the OKC Memorial Marathon on April 27th. Sixty-four amazing individuals joined us to run/walk and enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon! It is incredible to see how our mission continues to reach more people in the community! #CourseforChange #OKC

2024 marks the first graduating class of Course for Change OKC students. Their time in Course for Change has left a lasting impression on our organization, and we are so thankful to be part of their journey. They are all accomplished runners and have completed multiple half-marathons, as well as success in cross country, track, boxing and soccer. Above all they are amazing young people that treat others with respect and serve their community. We are so proud of all they have accomplished but know the best is yet to come.

I'm incredibly grateful and proud to cheer these kids on from the sidelines volunteering my expertise from creative, to supporting a vision that helps youth use long distance running as a vehicle for change. Their resilience and aspiration for growth continues to amaze me as they wrap up another season at the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. Course for Change is grateful for the support of the Oklahoma City Thunder through the OGE Energy Corp. community ticket program. Many students were able to attend their first Thunder game last night. We are ready to cheer on this team in the NBA playoffs! #ThunderUp
