For Hispanic Heritage Month, members of our Human Services Agency staff celebrated with a short film on the history of Hispanic culture in the United States, a traditional Mexican game of Lotería, delicious food from Catering Connection and performances by Casa Circulo Cultural. National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually observed from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic culture to the nation's achievements, culture and history. Approximately 25 percent of San Mateo County residents are Hispanic/Latino/a. #HispanicHeritageMonth #SanMateoCounty
