Let's give a huge shout-out to two incredible firefighters, Adam Harmon and Nick Uvegas, from the County's Fire Marshals Division, for their outstanding bravery and quick thinking in saving a Lexington man’s life! ???? In an extraordinary act of heroism, Adam and Nick went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the safety of a Lexington County resident during Hurricane Helene. Their fast response, skill, and dedication to serving our community made all the difference when it mattered most. Needing rental assistance?! The Lexington County Grants Division is now accepting applications for their Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program. This program provides assistance to individual households to help them afford housing costs such as rent, security and utility deposits. All information on how to apply is below on the flyer.

Lexington County Council will convene on Tuesday, February 25, for their regularly scheduled committee and council meetings. The public's input is needed on The Links to Lake Murray: SC 6 and SC 60 Corridors Study. You are asked to attend either meetings on Thursday, February 20.The first is being held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at The Meech House located at 2121 Lake Murray Blvd., Columbia.
