AN ASSEMBLY OF BLOOD DONORS: County Executive Samantha Kerkman stopped in at the Kenosha Municipal Building today to make a donation for the Badger Boost blood drive and ran into two of her former legislative colleagues — state Reps. Tod Ohnstad and Tip McGuire. Thanks to them for their contributions, and to the City of Kenosha for its support of Badger Boost, an effort to win $1 million to support Wisconsin Athletics through a national blood drive competition! ?? OFF THE BENCH TO GIVE BLOOD: Judge Chad Kerkman was the first donor this morning at the Badger Boost blood drive at the Courthouse. Kenosha County is supporting the City of Kenosha in this effort to win $1 million to support Wisconsin Athletics through a national blood drive competition — a partnership between Abbott and the Big Ten Conference. The Courthouse drive continues until 2 p.m. today, and there are plenty of walk-in spots available! Another drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Kenosha Municipal Building. ?? RETIREMENT RECOGNITIONS: Tonight, County Board Chairman Monica M. Yuhas presented certificates of recognition to District Attorney Michael Graveley and Register of Deeds JoEllyn Storz, both of whom are retiring at the end of the year after many years of service to Kenosha County. County Executive Samantha Kerkman joins Chairman Yuhas in wishing both of them well in their well-earned retirements!
