As part of Melbourne Fashion Week, our team members Erika Martin, Head of Sustainability, along with Tylah Moate, Design Assistant, Lucinda Bowen, Product Technician and Sophie Eddy, Design Assistant, represented Country Road Group as part of a panel discussion on our "Accelerating Circular Product Design at Scale" project with RMIT. This project was supported by the Victorian Government’s Circular Economy Innovation Fund, a part of the Circular Economy Business Innovation Centre (CEBIC), and brought together Courtney Holm of A.BCH World, Julie Boulton Strategy & Sustainability, RMIT University and Country Road Group. This collaborative initiative has developed open-source guidelines that will assist fashion product development teams in adopting circular design strategies. We are proud of the steps we’ve taken in developing this project and are committed to continuing our journey toward circularity, sharing valuable insights into the challenges and successes we faced as we worked towards a shared definition of circular design for fashion.

What better way to celebrate the recent collaboration between Country Road and Robert Gordon Australia than with a hands-on creative experience? This week, Robert Gordon hosted thirty of our team members at their studio in Pakenham, Victoria for an exclusive "Paint Your Own” pottery experience. Putting their creativity to the test, team members transformed ceramic pieces into their very own unique creations to take home. As they brought their designs to life, the Robert Gordon team shared stories about the meticulous craftmanship behind each one-of-a-kind piece in the Country Road and Robert Gordon range. This experience was a fantastic way to celebrate the collaboration, local design and innovation that makes the Country Road partnership with Robert Gordon so special.
