Brooke and Joy got to connect with the Blue Ridge clinicians last week to discuss Counterpoint’s programs. Continuity of care plays a crucial role in shaping client outcomes in substance abuse and mental health treatments. We’re grateful to get to work alongside other levels of care to give our clients the best shot at success.

Consistency lays the groundwork for lasting change. Every action step you take is fostering habits that lead to more growth. Try out these tips and see how small steps can lead to big changes!

Focusing on making consistent improvements and taking our time doing so is a hard task when we want the instant gratification of the work that has been done in a short period of time. Recovery takes time and work. Don’t do a disservice to yourself by giving up a few months in.

Counterpoint is looking for a full time clinician to join our team! Primary Responsibilities: - Flexible work hours between 9:00AM and 3:00PM, and 5:30PM and 8:30 PM; - An individual caseload of 10-12 clients; - 15-20 groups per week; - Appropriate and timely documentation; Weekly on-sight supervision with a CPCS; and Attend staff meetings. Qualifications: - An associate license or higher?(APC, LPC, LMSW LCSW)?is?required; - Master’s degree?in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; - At least?1 year of experience?working in substance abuse, addiction treatment, mental health, or behavioral health; - Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as IFS, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centered therapies; - Ability to work empathetically in a supportive, caring, and non-judgmental manner; - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; and - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and treatment and care planning.
