? New coffee alert! Kamwea Estate — a single-farm lot from Embu, Kenya. For Nyaga Kamwea, the Kamwea Estate is both a tribute to his late father and a legacy he hopes to pass on to his son. Located in Kenya's eastern province, an area known more for corn than coffee, the Kamwea estate defies this reputation by producing some of the highest-quality coffee in the area. This year’s harvest boasts bright citrus balanced by currant and nectarine fruit tones. Grab a box today! https://buff.ly/3YCR1YS

? Have you tried GEM 007 yet? ? This wholesale-exclusive coffee from Kochere, Ethiopia, sparkles with delicious notes of raspberry, watermelon, and clover honey. ???? Use our store locator to find where you can pick up this exclusive brew and treat yourself to something truly special! ???? https://buff.ly/422BhP3 More about GEM??: Gems are treasured for a reason—they require the perfect harmony of environment, ingredients, and process to sparkle. Inspired by agronomy’s Genotype, Environment, and Management (GEM) framework, our GEM line embodies the pursuit of coffee excellence from seed to cup. This iteration of GEM is special as it’s our first from Ethiopia. As the birthplace of Arabica, Ethiopia’s coffee culture is rooted in generations of tradition, producing cup quality that is virtually unmatched. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for innovation. Two founding members of the Jabanto farmer’s group in Kochere have been experimenting with processing techniques that are far from the norm. They’ve taken a landrace variety, Kurume, and applied two uncommon processing styles that unlock a whole new spectrum of flavors not typically found in Ethiopian coffees. Blended together, we taste dynamic fruit flavors of raspberry and watermelon with a body and sweetness reminiscent of clover honey. After many years working with Ethiopian coffees, we’ve never quite tasted anything like this—a GEM that is wholly unique.

? Subscriber exclusive alert! Muriama Estate from Embu, Kenya, is available now through Thursday, November 7! Sign up for a 2-bag Single-Origin coffee subscription and never miss an exclusive coffee drop! More about Muriama??: Muriama estate, a reimagined second-generation coffee farm in Kenya, reflects the family’s commitment to progress. Founded in 1954 by Simon Ngariama with just 100 trees, the farm spent decades selling coffee cherries to the local cooperative. Since taking over, Simon’s son, Njogu, and his wife, Esther, have expanded the estate by planting more trees, investing in post-harvest processing equipment, and incorporating it as a private estate named Muriama, a blend of their surnames. The shift to processing their own coffee has allowed them to retain more value and market directly to international buyers, resulting in enhanced quality and transparency. This season's harvest has blood orange-like acidity that is balanced by jammy black currant and hibiscus tones. Subscribe today!

What is the BIG deal about Gigantic? ?? In many coffee-producing countries, seed size plays a crucial role in coffee production. Coffee breeders often select varieties based on bean size, impacting prices and premiums. At Counter Culture, we prioritize flavor over size! ??? Our “Gigantic” blend celebrates the unique Pacamara variety, known for its large beans and complex profile. ???? Expect vibrant acidity reminiscent of crisp apple and citrus, plus tropical fruit flavors for a juicy, wine-like experience. A caramel-like sweetness perfectly balances this delicious cup! This limited-release blend features Pacamaras from our partners: Finca Santa Elena, Finca El Puente, and Finca Pashapa. Don’t miss out on these BIG flavors! ???? Grab a bag before it goes away! https://buff.ly/3ZZypov

? New coffee drop: Cinco de Junio from Las Sabanas, Nicaragua is back! Located in the department of Madriz, the Cinco de Junio cooperative is our oldest partner in Nicaragua, a relationship that began in 2009. Over the years, the cooperative has weathered challenges—shifting economic and political conditions, as well as the growing impacts of climate change. These pressures have forced the cooperative and its members to adjust their production practices to continue making the best coffee possible. While their quality has, at times, wavered, their perseverance has never faltered. This season’s lot delivers classic flavors of pear, dark chocolate, and almond. Grab a bag today! https://buff.ly/3Y2V4xr
