Friends, ? It is with profound sadness that we write to inform you that our colleague and friend Shelly Boardman passed away unexpectedly this week. ? Shelly had a long career involved in educator preparation. Most recently serving as the CAEP Director of Volunteer Management, she was instrumental in helping to guide CAEP to improve its training program for volunteers and was involved in developing resources for providers.? ? While Shelly was a valued team member, she was also a friend to those who knew her and worked with her. She was always ready to assist in any way needed and managed to maintain a smile that would help to assure all of us that by working together we can find a path to success. She will be greatly missed by those of us at CAEP that worked with her on a daily basis. ? Shelly is survived by her husband and two adult children. ? Arrangements to remember Shelly and comfort her family are being made at this time.
