The Council works on behalf of the development industry to ensure that Metro Atlanta thrives.
关于我们
The Council for Quality Growth is a not-for-profit trade organization promoting balanced and responsible growth in the metro Atlanta region and state by promoting long range planning and adequate delivery of government services, serving as a catalyst for consensus on growth issues and providing a forum for discussion of responsible development, and economic or technical expertise as needed. Since its inception in 1985, the Council has worked as the development industry’s voice, a clearinghouse for critical information on growth and development policy and a forum for education. The Council advocates for its members to ensure that governmental development policy is fair and conducive to balanced and responsible growth. Through constructive leadership and active participation in resolving growth issues based on real-world experience, the Council is a knowledgeable and informed advocate for you. The Council’s work on behalf of its members has a direct and profitable result on their bottom line. Impact fees, development moratoriums, unrealistic code amendments—it only takes one new regulatory layer and your project becomes unfeasible. The rate of return on your membership investment will prove to be immeasurable as our policy team affects positive change in the political and regulatory web you face daily.

The Council would like to thank our guest speakers from last week's Advisory Roundtable meetings for sharing their expertise with our members. Last Tuesday, City of Palmetto Mayor Teresa Thomas-Smith, presented at our South Metro advisory meeting at ATL Airport Community Improvement Districts. Thank you Verizon for sponsoring this meeting. On Wednesday, Henry County District 5 Commissioner Kevin J. Lewis joined us at Henry County Chamber of Commerce. Members can access Roundtable Recaps & speaker presentations here: https://lnkd.in/ePQCbGc3 Monthly Advisory Roundtable meetings are exclusive to Council members, and members are eligible to attend any of the monthly Advisory Roundtables. Each meeting’s speaker leads a policy-driven discussion on a specific topic, and the benefits are twofold, as members receive first-hand insight from local leaders and can advise on potential impacts of policy. Servant leader focused on building lasting relationships and delivering quality results to our clients. Committed to excellence in all we do. Let's connect to create impactful, sustainable relationships.
I had the pleasure of attending the Atlanta Business Chronicle ‘s “Defining Atlanta | Georgia’s Infrastructure: Bridging the Gap” as a guest of the Council for Quality Growth. Amanda Groover, MBA joined me for this program. The event brought together industry experts to discuss the critical role infrastructure plays in fostering economic growth across Georgia. We heard insightful presentations on key topics such as water management, transportation networks, power generation, and freight logistics—each essential to ensuring our state remains competitive and prepared for future growth. It was an excellent opportunity to engage with leaders who are shaping the future of Georgia’s infrastructure and to reflect on how organizations like CROFT & Associates can contribute to this vital work. Thank you to the Council for Quality Growth for the invitation and to the Atlanta Business Chronicle for hosting such an informative and impactful event. We look forward to continuing the conversation and supporting Georgia’s growth through thoughtful design and collaboration. #CROFTcares #architecture #engineering #CROFTcares #water #abc #Metroatlanta #councilforqualitygrowth
