Our patients never have to worry about their medications being delivered safely and on time. Cottrill’s Specialty Pharmacy carefully selects shipping containers based on manufacturer guidelines specific to each medication. Additionally, we take into account expected temperature at the patient's address, temperature at the origin of shipment and anticipated duration of delivery. Cottrill’s SP adheres to strict cold chain packout guidelines for each refrigerated scenario and adjustments are made as needed on an individual package basis. Room-temperature medications are shipped in a polyurethane insulated pouch with integrated materials to protect the medication from extreme temperature fluctuations and ensure that manufacturer recommended temperatures are maintained until it reaches the patient.
