The beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo comes to life on stage in a new Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) version featuring new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (Frozen). Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid, Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Australia, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Now playing at The Coterie through December 30th! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gqJs49G5

The Coterie Theatre welcomes 335+ schools and groups to our mainstage performances each year, but increased bus costs and bus driver scarcity has made it challenging for many schools to provide these enriching field trips. That's why we created "Your Ticket to Ride," our bus subsidy program that provides assistance (up to $3 per student) to defray transportation costs for K-12 schools. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 to reduce the cost of bus rides for more than 3,700 young students throughout the Kansas City area. We hope that you will consider supporting "Your Ticket to Ride." No matter what you are able to give, you make a big difference for thousands of young people! Make your one-time donation today at https://lnkd.in/gEJpSQpz.

The Coterie Theatre joins our entire Kansas City community in mourning the passing of Don Hall, Sr. Mr. Hall, in partnership with his late wife Adele Hall, made a lasting impact on Kansas City and on The Coterie Theatre. We at The Coterie feel a deep connection to Hallmark, our host friends at Crown Center, and the entire Hall family, and we send our sincere condolences to them.
All of us at Hallmark are saddened by the passing of Donald J. Hall, Hallmark chairman emeritus and son of company founder J.C. Hall. Don served as CEO and president of Hallmark from 1966 to 1986, guiding our company through its greatest period of growth. His influence fueled civic initiatives that changed the face of Kansas City and inspired generations of Hallmarkers to be passionate about the products we create and actively involved in our communities. A memorial site tribute.hallmark.com in Don’s honor will soon be available with more information about his life and legacy.

We had a great time this past weekend with Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri at the HORSE POWER workshop. Not only did the scouts attend the show, they also got a behind-the-scenes look at how the horse puppets work and were able to create their own puppets under the supervision of the pros at What if Puppets! Thanks to everyone that joined us ??
