The Central Library Association of Washington

The Central Library Association of Washington serves as a status-seeking 501(c)3 civic organization, created to supplement discretionary funding expenditures appropriated to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, which serves as the Central Branch of the District of Columbia Public Library System. Via coordination with Branch facilities and staff, municipal resources, the federal government, exterior non-profits, corporate partners, and private donors, the Association gathers funds for worthy projects, initiatives, and pursuits, as submitted by, or otherwise created in consultation with; Library stakeholders, and funded through a grant-making structure. We are proud to support the critical resource that is D C's Central Library, and the individuals who make its work possible everyday.
