SafeHouse presented the award to Cortland during its annual gala on October 12th to recognize the lasting impact our associates have made in the community. We began partnering with SafeHouse in 2022 during Cortland Commitment Week, our annual week of community service. The experience developed into a long-lasting relationship of service, teamwork, and dedication to excellence. This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship through the continuous improvement of energy performance across our communities and operations. ? We are thrilled to announce that 48 of our communities have earned ENERGY STAR? certifications, a significant increase from 19 certified communities last year. They rank within the top 25% for energy efficiency compared to similar buildings nationwide. Cortland’s Sustainability Team is excited to continue collaborating with our communities to drive energy savings and continue to grow our list of green building certifications.
