The Truth About Furniture in Critical Spaces Not all furniture is designed with safety in mind. And when it’s not, the risks are real. We’ve seen it firsthand: Sharp edges that create unnecessary risks. Complicated designs that make cleaning and maintenance a challenge. Frames that break under stress. That’s why we approach every product with a safety-first mindset, because in behavioral health, failure is not an option. Durability, security, and dignity aren’t just features. They’re requirements. Let’s build better spaces together. #SafeSpaces #FurnitureThatWorks

More Than Just a Name We don’t name our furniture randomly. Each name reflects the purpose behind the design. Radial Rocker → Encourages soothing, repetitive movement. Endurance → Built to withstand relentless use. Solstice → A grounding presence for rest and recovery. Cascade → Designed for fluidity, function, and safety. A name isn’t just a label, it’s a reflection of the problem it solves. What’s a product name that’s stuck with you? Let’s hear it. ??

The Best Designs Are the Ones You Don’t Notice As furniture designers and manufacturers, that’s a humbling reality. Most people don’t think twice about commercial furniture - and that’s the point. The smartest designs disappear into the background because they work. When furniture is designed right, it blends in. When it’s designed wrong, you notice. #DesignThatWorks #InvisibleInnovation #FurnitureWithPurpose

The Radial Rocker: Finding Calm in Motion Rocking chairs aren’t new. But in behavioral health environments, they serve a greater purpose. The Radial Rocker was designed to provide therapeutic motion in spaces where movement matters. Research shows that rocking can reduce stress, improve self-regulation, and promote relaxation - making it a valuable tool for de-escalation and sensory processing. That’s why it’s increasingly used in state hospitals, crisis stabilization units, and autism programs nationwide. We’re proud to see it helping caregivers create safer, more therapeutic environments.

Beyond Sound Absorption: Measuring the Noise Standard industry tests focus on how well materials absorb sound, but we took it a step further. We wanted to measure the noise our furniture actually creates when impacted. We recently partnered with an independent lab to conduct a unique test, analyzing the sound levels generated when different furniture materials were struck with a metal object. The results? Some commonly used materials produced noise levels exceeding 100 dB (equivalent to a jackhammer) while ours significantly reduced impact noise. Why does this matter? In high-stress environments, excessive noise can increase agitation, disrupt communication, and escalate tensions. By understanding how different materials respond to impact, we’re making informed design choices to help create safer, quieter spaces. Let’s rethink noise together. Want to know more? Let’s talk. #Innovation #AcousticTesting #FurnitureDesign
