Last week, CSC (Bedford Park) corporate employees and its sister plant’s corporate employees at Alsip MiniMill, teamed up for a meaningful volunteer event at The?Greater Chicago Food Depository. Together, we repacked a variety of food items that were quickly distributed to families and individuals in need. In just a few hours, our teams packed?793 cases of food—equivalent to approximately 9,170 meals! This opportunity came full circle as the GCFD boxes we packed the food in were made with?paper provided by Alsip MiniMill and converted into?corrugated sheets from CSC! At CSC, we deeply value community and the opportunity to give back. We’re grateful for our partnership with the?Greater Chicago Food Depository?and the chance to make a positive impact. Despite the cold, wet, and rainy weather, our annual CSC Atlanta picnic in Conyers, Georgia, was a fantastic success with an incredible turnout!
