  • Congratulations to the 26 new parole agents who graduated from Basic Training earlier this month in the inaugural class of 2025! Deputy Secretary of Field Services Deborah Carpenter encouraged the group with her keynote address, and awards were given for valedictorian and marksmanship. Ward-Evans is a graduate of Widener University and has more than 8 years of experience as a field parole agent. He is very well organized and detail-oriented, and he has always demonstrated an eagerness to coach and mentor fellow staff members.   • The Chester Parole District recently celebrated a trio of retirements for long-time employees: Parole Agent Rafequi Rozier, Parole Supervisor Scott Peterson, and Parole Supervisor Joseph Bentzley. Agent Rozier served for 20 years. He was the admin agent and supervised juvenile lifers, and he has always been a great and resourceful agent. Supervisor Peterson served for 31 years, during which time he supervised the city of Chester and was well connected with every agency to assist reentrants for a successful reentry. He also served as a sergeant at SCI Chester. Supervisor Bentzley served for 33 years and was a field agent before becoming a supervisor. He was very detail oriented and truly embodied public service. ? Congratulations to all three on their well-earned retirement and thank you for your service! #PADOCProud
