Members of CPB’s TV Content team traveled to Cleveland recently to attend the American Public Television Fall Marketplace. The team met with public media stations from around the country that are supporting national programming through locally produced content, participated in professional development sessions on timely industry topics impacting producers, and screened a variety of programs offered through APT’s syndication services. Jim Dunford the president of APT, also interviewed presidential historian Mark Updegrove about the recent presidential election and how public media can provide news and information to people across the political spectrum.
