This Thanksgiving Eve, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible community that surrounds us. To the libraries that host our Caregiver Cafés, the businesses that bolster our underfunded programs, and the generous donors who help us care for our most vulnerable patients—thank you. Today, our Thanksgiving week gratitude shines on our incredible volunteer team. We are thankful for the gift they are to us, our patients, and their families. From board member stewardship and guidance to office assembly of admission booklets to organizing tea party gatherings, from hand-knitting scarves and gloves to facilitating caregiver cafés, thanking veterans, teaching balance classes, and spreading holiday cheer through music, their kindness knows no bounds. On Friday, November 1st, we hosted a very special celebration in honor of our President/CEO, Julie Reynolds, RN, MS. After 30 years of dedicated service—including over 11 years as CEO—Julie will retire in January 2025, leaving behind a powerful legacy of compassionate leadership. It was a fun night of surprises for Julie, including the announcement of renaming our Training Room to the REACH Training Room (Reynolds Education And Career Hub), and Strafford County Commissioner, George Maglaras, presented a proclamation announcing November as Julie Reynolds Month!
