On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the Seaside Heights Boardwalk buzzed with energy as over 7,500 brave souls took the icy dive for the 32nd annual Polar Bear Plunge, a fundraising event supporting Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ). Among the courageous plungers was the spirited RCP/CPM team, embodying the event’s enthusiastic vibe. The Plunge, a highlight event for SONJ, raised an impressive $2.5 million, proving that community support is as strong as a polar bear’s swim stroke. The RCP/CPM team, known for their community engagement, exceeded their ambitious fundraising goal, through tireless efforts, significantly boosting the total funds for SONJ athletes. Despite the 39-degree water temperature, the atmosphere was warm with camaraderie. Spectators lined up on the boardwalk, cheering on teams like RCP/CPM, with palpable enthusiasm. app.com The funds raised from the Polar Bear Plunge are vital for SONJ, providing free programs and services to thousands of athletes statewide. Events like these foster community spirit and awareness around the abilities of individuals with intellectual disabilities. As the sun set on another successful plunge, the RCP CPM team and all participants left with a sense of accomplishment, already looking forward to next year's event. Corner Associates attended a lunchtime seminar hosted by the CAI New Jersey Legislative Action Committee (CAI NJ LAC) on February 4, 2025, at the Concordia Community Clubhouse in Monroe Township, NJ. Established in 1993, CAI NJ LAC is a dedicated volunteer committee comprised of homeowners and industry professionals committed to serving community associations. The committee plays a vital role in advocating for community associations across New Jersey by identifying key issues, monitoring pending legislation, and establishing legislative priorities. Additionally, they foster relationships with state legislators and provide essential guidance on matters affecting community associations. During the seminar, speakers provided valuable insights and updates on current and proposed legislation, including the Structural Integrity Bill, manager licensing requirements, and the Corporate Transparency Act.

The New Jersey Community Associations Political Action Committee (CA-PAC) "Pac the Lanes" bowling event was a perfect strike! ?? Held at Bowlero in North Brunswick, NJ, last night, the evening was all about fun, networking, and supporting our PAC. Industry pros and CAI members spared no time, mingling together within an engaging atmosphere that had everyone rolling with amusement. The attendees showed off their bowling skills, aimed for those elusive turkeys (three strikes in a row), and enjoyed fantastic food, and lively conversation. During the month of December, Corner Property Management proudly organized a heartfelt holiday drive dedicated to supporting veterans across New Jersey. This initiative aimed to spread holiday cheer and provide much-needed assistance to those who have bravely served our country. Through the generous contributions of our team, donations were collected and distributed to several impactful organizations, including the Lyons VA, East Orange VA, Vets Haven North and South, and Operation Valor.
