Another great day putting up precast panels. The insulated precast concrete wall panels supplied for the Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, New Jersey will be used support the roof steel, eliminating perimeter steel columns and beams, eliminated the need for C.I.P. frost wall and integrated thin-brick exterior finishes to match the existing campus. Another Accelerated Bridge Project taking advantage of precast concrete abutments and prestressed deck slabs. This project’s preplanning, premanufacturing and quick installation provides the town of Thompson, Connecticut with factory made precast concrete components ready for assembly.?This quaint village in Connecticut will benefit from the limited site disturbance, improved construction timeframe and use of durable construction materials. Installation began with the high-performance precast concrete wall panels on the Tri-County Water Treatment Facility in Franklin, Massachusetts. The precast walls are pre-insulated with architectural concrete finishes including cast-in thin-brick. The project took advantage of the durable concrete material including its load-bearing capability and will be supporting the steel roof structure. Embedded material in all openings will provide easy installation for windows and doors.
