Earlier today at the North American Bitcoin Summit, Proto and Core Scientific shared how they’re collaborating to transform mining infrastructure. The panel discussion with Perry Hothi, Russell Cann, and Larry Kom, moderated by Lee Bratcher of the Texas Blockchain Council, highlighted some game-changing innovations: ?? Replaceable hashboards – Faulty components can be swapped out without taking machines offline, significantly reducing downtime. ?? Lower ownership costs – Modular designs allow higher-quality components to last across multiple chip upgrades, cutting operational costs. ??? Integrated infrastructure – Miner chassis become part of the data center, maximizing efficiency and scalability. This partnership merges Proto’s hardware engineering expertise with Core Scientific’s operational know-how, opening new doors for smarter, more sustainable mining.

Hats off to Port Muskogee, which is partnering with Core Scientific and CoreWeave to build a 100-megawatt data center.
