We are thrilled to announce that Richard Edgerly has been promoted to Savannah Retail Operation Supervisor at CORE Credit Union! Ricky is a Tybee Island Native. He loves Georgia Bulldogs football, God, and spending time with family. When he is not busy at work, you can find him relaxing with the ones he loves and always promoting CORE everywhere that he goes. He is an avid member of the St. Patrick’s Day committee in Savannah in which he has been involved in for over 25 years while also being a member of many other organizations that he takes pride in. Ricky started with CORE as a member service representative in 2021 and has worked hard to move his way up in the company. He has shown that hard work and determination pays off. Furthering him being a dedicated employee, Ricky always tries to make sure that everyone comes in feeling valued when they leave and that they are treated as though they are family in all his actions. Savannah Federal branch will close today, August 5th, at 1:00 PM ? Memorial Health branch will close today, August 5th, at 4:00 PM ? All Bulloch County branches will close today, August 5th, at 5:00 PM We are closely monitoring the situation and at this time our intention is to resume regular business hours on Wednesday, August 7th unless there are unforeseen circumstances. We are so excited to announce the return of Darien Adams to our team as our newest Business Development Specialist! ?? Being a Statesboro native with over five years of experience in the banking world, Darien uses her strong community ties and professional knowledge to drive growth and build lasting relationships. She began her journey at Georgia Southern University where she obtained key information of the financial sector and learned she had a natural talent for connecting with those around her. She is a devoted mom to three wonderful kids who are her biggest inspiration. When she’s not at work, she loves to go on long drives to the beach, attend concerts, and go shopping. You can most likely find her where there is a good time happening! Darien’s love for her community shines through her active involvement in local events and initiatives. She is a member at Connection Church where she loves to interact with people in the town, and she is also a part of Dancing with the Statesboro Stars where she will be supporting Safe Haven/Citizens Against Violence. With her fun and approachable style, Darien Adams is setting the bar high in business development. Her mix of expertise, enthusiasm, and community spirit makes her a valuable asset to her team and a trusted advisor to her clients. We are thrilled to have her back to fill this role. Exciting News!! ?? We're thrilled to announce that Zack Rogers has been promoted to the position of Senior Consumer Lending Specialist at CORE Credit Union! ?? Zack is a Statesboro native who graduated from Statesboro High School Class of 2012. He then studied Economics and Entrepreneurship at Georgia Southern where he graduated in 2016. In 2015, Zack started at CORE as a loan department intern through the finance department at Georgia Southern and was hired on full-time in September of 2016. In his off hours, Zack is an armchair science and history enthusiast, and loves table-top gaming. Zack also maintains a passion for music in no small part due to his time in the marching band program at Statesboro High. For 8 years, Zack has been an invaluable part of our team, demonstrating exceptional skill, dedication, and passion for his work. In his new role, he will continue to drive our company forward and help us reach new heights. We are so excited for him to fill this role.
