We are proud to help our friends at Commonpoint Queens! What a great event!
Thanks to our generous community of donors, volunteers, and of course our amazing friends CORD MEYER DEVELOPMENT COMPANY/Bay Terrace Shopping Center, we helped over 1,200 community members by distributing over 4,000 clothing and household items for FREE during our annual Commonpoint Closet. It’s so special to bring our community together for days like this - it takes a village!

As part of our ongoing support of local communities, Cord Meyer Development recently brought a lot of exciting science to kids at Crocheron Park in Queens. “Big Top Science” was sponsored by Cord Meyer and presented by Friends of Crocheron & John Golden Park, a not-for-profit that assists New York City Parks. The fun morning was all part of Cord Meyer’s ongoing role as Premier Sponsor of the Friends group. Cord Meyer Vice President and Bay Terrace Project Lead Joe Forgione thanked Friends of Crocheron Park President Jessica Burke for another great opportunity to showcase our support of the Bayside community.?

Yesterday, Cord Meyer PM Randi Lucas had the pleasure of adding her vast knowledge to a panel at the BuiltWorlds Construction Tech Conference in Chicago, where she discussed the best strategies for optimizing jobsite logistics.
It's been a day of rich, insightful content, conversations and connecting at the Construction Tech Conference...and we're only halfway through the day. Already we've heard from Robert Leon, chief innovation officer with STO Building Group, who set the tone for the day, recounting the history and evolution of construction tech into the modern day, emphasizing the role innovation has and continues to play in the industry's progress. To learn more from Robert Leon, check out his recently posted Q+A: https://lnkd.in/gr3EjNeq We heard from innovation experts from TrueLook Construction Cameras, Sundt Construction, Kiewit, and On3 about the opportunity to enhance site safety through technologies like wearable devices, IoT sensors, virtual reality simulations, predictive analytics, and more. We heard the story of Trunk Tools from the company's founder and CEO Sarah Buchner, who was joined by?Michael Trenski, director of construction technology at AMLI Residential, to help explain how leveraging technology and fostering collaborative environments can help to mitigate risks, reduce costs, and ensure timely project delivery. And we heard experts from Bundle, Veyor, Barton Malow, and Cord Meyer Development Company discuss the best strategies for optimizing jobsite logistics, from advanced tracking systems and digital supply chain platforms to Just-in-Time delivery models and lean construction principles. We heard all of that...before lunch. Needless to say, we're excited for all that's still left to come. See our full Construction Tech Conference agenda here: https://lnkd.in/gWjajxKV
