A few women from our team recently got the opportunity to speak at the Western Electrical Contractors Association, Inc. Women In Construction Week Open House. They each spoke about their experience being a woman in construction and what it takes to be successful in this industry while breaking certain barriers they face on the job. How did you end up in the industry you are in today? Finding your passion at a young age and having the opportunity to truly love what you do early on is something that not every person gets to experience in their career. For Journeyman, Nathan D., getting the chance to work alongside his stepdad on various projects and gaining useful electrical skills helped him determine that a career in the trades was the path he wanted to take.
